Family photo

This is my wonderful family! Although it sounds cliché, I love them more than anything and miss them while I am away at school. They have always been there for me.

This photo was taken at one of our most favorite places to vacation. It is a small lake in Northern Idaho, and we go every year to spend a week or so to go boating and relax in a lake house. We also go with my dad’s sister and her family, so we had my uncle take this photo of us on our last day there this year. Even though it was just a last minute picture taken with an iPhone, I absolutely love it! It depicts my family in a normal-every day-and almost grungy look. We had just gotten back from being out on our boat for the morning; we are all happy to be there with each other. It shows us all together at a place we love, doing something we love. The lake and trees provide a perfect background for the picture; that lake is one of the most beautiful places on earth! Then of course, there is my dog, which we actually got to sit still for a half of a second to take the picture. My dog Zeek is a member of the family and this picture would definitely not be the same without him.

Family photos can really tell you a lot about a family. Just through this picture, you can see that my family is a unified and happy one. You can see that we love to be outdoors, and there is a story behind where we are. A picture really is worth a thousand words.
